Open Water Swim & Run Clinic

How it Works

August 24th - 9:30am Sharp

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced swimmer, there is no substitute for training in open water. So don’t miss this opportunity to train in the Atlantic and calm some of those fears you may have. The swim is followed by a 40:00 - 60:00 run along the board walk. Please arrive by 9:20am!

What To Expect

This is a great opportunity to pick up valuable open water swimming experience with coaches and other athletes to help make your race a better experience! We will work on all the basics -- what to expect, open water swimming techniques, swim starts & exits, drafting & pacing, breathing & sighting techniques, strategy for rough & calm waters, mental preparation & conditioning, and safety. After going through some basic drills, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy some swimming! All swimmers welcome!
