2010 Team Race Events
What are the benefits of team races?
1. We will have a large number of athletes racing and training at each
event.
2. We eat, carpool/travel, and room together.
3. Coach(es) will be in attendance to give technical, psychological, and
strategic support.
4. Having teammates around makes the experience fun and supportive!
5. The team trailer will be available for bike transportation and bike
support.

This race series broke onto the scene in 2009 with the Rev 3 in Middlebury, CT. It was a huge success and in 2010 it's coming to Knoxville, TN with both an olympic and half distance! Athletes will begin their day swimming in the Tennessee River. The bike rides out of the city and into the beautiful rural countryside. Those competing in the Half Rev will venture out toward the base of the Smokey Mountains. Athletes will return to the city of Knoxville and transition onto their respective runs through the University of Tennessee and adjacent neighborhoods culminating with a spectacular finish in the heart of World’s Fair Park.

This is the continuation of the Rev3 series, this half Ironman was a real hit in 2009! With a newly designed run course for 2010, they have also added an olympic distance race to the weekend schedule! This race should have something for everyone!

Ironman Switzerland-Zurich

This is the big daddy of triathlons and in 2010 Terriers are headed abroad to Zurich, Switzerland! A rare opportunity to race internationally with your teammates, IM Switzerland has consistently proved to be an incredible event. We already have over 20 athletes participating and we hope to increase our roster!

Syracuse 70.3, NY
Syracuse, New York will play host the 2010 Ironman 70.3 Series. The inaugural race will take place on Sunday, September 19, 2010 and will encompass a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike and a 13.1-mile run course through central New York.
Registration for Ironman 70.3 Syracuse will open on September 1, 2009, at 9 a.m. EDT. Athletes will be vying for total of 50 qualifying slots to the Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 held each November in Clearwater, FL. Ironman 70.3 Syracuse becomes the only Ironman 70.3 qualifier in a tri-state region of the NorthEast.
